Instructions

  1. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add half of the beef and 1 teaspoon of garlic to the skillet.
  3. Stir-fry beef 2 to 3 minutes or until outside surface is no longer pink and minimum temperature reaches 145°F. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside. Repeat with remaining beef and garlic.
  4. Add vegetables to the same skillet. Cook and stir frequently until heated through and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Return beef to the skillet, stirring occasionally until heated through; about 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low.
  6. In a small saucepan, whisk honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil over medium-low heat and simmer 3-5 minutes. Set aside.
  7. Add hot cooked noodles and sauce to the skillet, gently tossing to coat with beef, vegetables and sauce.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.

Notes

Nutrition Tip: The Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend choosing lean sources of protein whenever possible. To identify a lean cut of beef, look for the words “loin” or “round” in the name. For example, top sirloin or bottom round roast.
