Instructions
- Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add half of the beef and 1 teaspoon of garlic to the skillet.
- Stir-fry beef 2 to 3 minutes or until outside surface is no longer pink and minimum temperature reaches 145°F. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside. Repeat with remaining beef and garlic.
- Add vegetables to the same skillet. Cook and stir frequently until heated through and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Return beef to the skillet, stirring occasionally until heated through; about 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low.
- In a small saucepan, whisk honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil over medium-low heat and simmer 3-5 minutes. Set aside.
- Add hot cooked noodles and sauce to the skillet, gently tossing to coat with beef, vegetables and sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
Notes
Nutrition Tip: The Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend choosing lean sources of protein whenever possible. To identify a lean cut of beef, look for the words “loin” or “round” in the name. For example, top sirloin or bottom round roast.
